Orvieto & Umbria

Orvieto, a city older than 3,000 years and older than Rome. It was originally called Velzna by the pre-Roman civilization who lived here (the Etruscans), then called Volsinia by the Romans, later called Urbs Vetus during the Middle Ages. A multi-millenary place, rich in history, agriculture and spectacular landscapes is where David Tordi was born and raised - in the region of Umbria, next to Tuscany and between Rome and Florence.

Orvieto is an ideal place for those who want to experience authentic Italy by using a comfortable starting point to take day trips, being it within only 30 minutes from Civita di Bagnoregio, Bolsena and Pitigliano, one hour from Siena, Perugia, Assisi, Rome, Arezzo, Cortona, Chianti and a couple of hours from Florence, Pisa, Volterra.
